FOPS- Friends of Pilanesberg
A local organisation whose primary objective aids the park in a number of tangible ways, foremost being seen by the numerous well constructed hides throughout the park.

"Within such legal restraints as may pertain at any given time, the aim of the Society is the conservation of the habitat and the fauna and flora of the Pilanesberg National Park and in any other area that the committee deems fit for any particular or exceptional reasons."

Members of FOPS can attend work parties to clean out the bush or to construct hides and the like. They also have access to the permanent tents that they have at Manyane Resort.
